The Certificate of Merit Honors Festival provides an additional opportunity for students to perform a piece from their Certificate of Merit repertoire, selected by their instructor, in a public forum.
To be eligible to perform a student must score:
80% or higher on Theory Test
5+, 5 or 5- on evaluator-selected piece
Average, Good or Excellent on Sight reading
Good or Excellent on Technique
Good or Excellent on Performance
The 2023 Certificate of Merit Honor Recitals will be held at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts (directions below) on Saturday, April 1st and Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. Recital start times will vary. Each recital will last approximately an hour.
