Branch Programs

Students who study with Conejo Valley Branch MTAC members can take advantage of numerous programs and events offered by the branch, either by performing or attending these events. These programs occur annually, and students can use these educational events to strengthen their skills and to continue their artistic growth.

State Programs

The Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) offers several educational programs designed to provide all students of music–children, adults, and teachers–the opportunity to enhance their understanding of music, develop their instrumental, vocal, and composition skills, and hone their performance abilities.  All teacher members of the MTAC and their students are eligible to participate in these fine Music Teachers’ Association of California programs.

Register For An Upcoming Event

Each event offered by our branch is headed by its respective chairperson(s) who has volunteered to organize and run the event. The Chair will determine how the registration process will be carried out. In some events, such as the state-sponsored Certificate of Merit and Bach Festival, the registration website will be a state-designated website. In other events that are sponsored by our branch for our branch members only, Google Document will be used in most cases. The link to the Google Document will be emailed to the members when the registration for the event is open. Each registration will ask for information relating to the students, teachers, and repertoire. Fees are usually involved to cover the costs of venues and or adjudicators.

For Teachers Only. Students, please contact your teacher to register for an event.
